Happy Funkey Halloween!

Happy Halloween! What's everyone going as tonight? I wonder if anyone has ever attempted to make a UB Funkey costume? If so, I'd love to see pictures.

Can you see Ptep in this picture?

Ub Funkey Game Creator - Ace & Mulch

These 2 UB Funkeys are Liam's favorites now. He has a renewed interest in playing UB Funkeys because he's having a blast creating games, and also playing the games that others have created. We finally found Ace & Mulch at a KMart a couple of months ago.

Ace & Mulch are different from the other Funkeys in a couple of ways. They don't have a game that is already created, but instead you create the games! They are also different in the way that they each have a detachable piece which make them toys to play with as well.

These are some of the games that Liam enjoyed playing:

I'd like to introduce Alec at ufunknews.blogspot.com

It was a couple months ago when I stumbled upon a blog called UFunk News after I saw it come across my google alerts and checked it out. I was very impressed with Alec and his writing and I was surprised that he didn't have any followers! So I signed up as a follower and then I wanted to share his blog on here. It took me a while to finally write something and I'm happy to see he's picked up some followers since then. If you have a minute to check it out, I think you'll like it as well and also want to follow!

FunkeyFever.com is back up & running

Some of you may have noticed that the FunkeyFever.com web site was down for a couple months. There was a very unfortunate incident of a hacker bringing down their site & stealing from them. But the guy was caught and charged for the crime and now FunkeyFever.com is back up. The site is secure and they are ready for their visitors to return. So please show Tamara your support and stop by, maybe send an email of encouragement to her. She's been through a lot, so your support will keep her going on her hard work over there.

Funkey Fever has the Paradox Green Funkeys in stock, as well as the earlier series of Funkeys for those of you trying to complete your collection. Here's the link to their buying page: http://funkeyfever.com/retail.html

Wendy's kids meal UB Funkey Bobblehead

I believe this will be our limit on Wendy's kids meals, this is our second one and we got the bobblehead.

Here's a picture of the bobblehead with Nectar & Maul to give you an idea of the size in comparison to a real ("Playable") U.B. Funkey.

An interesting comment came through this morning on a previous post. Someone in Missouri didn't have luck getting a UB Funkey toy because they got there soon after they were gone. The Wendy's was selling more kids meals than usual because of the UB Funkey toys in them! I don't know who left the comment, but thanks! I am surprised because I didn't realize there was that much interest in UB Funkeys, but I sure am glad to hear they are popular.

Tadd is my new favorite Funkey!

We found Tadd today and I have decided that he's now my favorite Funkey! He's so cute! (and I have no idea why there's an underline under all the text I'm typing, I can't get it off!)

Here they are, all 4 of our newest funkeys from Series 5: Nectar, Tadd, Maul, and Rastro.

(Note to Roco if you read this: I replaced the picture of Maul in my last post if you still want to use it as your avatar. Although your Rastro looks good, but if you still want Maul, the new picture I just put is much more in focus)

We finally found Maul, Rastro, and Nectar at a Target store.

I'll be back later to write more! I hope you all enjoy these pictures.

The Hunt for Paradox Green/Series 5 UB Funkeys Is On!

It's that time again when we are obsessively stopping in at all the Target stores, ToysRUs, KMart, and Walmarts as the opportunity may allow. Liam & I have not had any luck yet. But it appears Roco, Akaabbey, Neos123141, Wear Wolf, Obsessed Funkey, and others have had better luck. eBay was the first place to find them, but now there are many reports of Paradox Green/ Series5 Funkeys at

KMART and TARGET!!!!

This is Roco's picture of his Very Rare (so far, everyone has got the VR ones) Rastro and Tadd. Roco's blog is funkeysfun.blogspot.com/

Please check back soon....
I'll be back with some pictures and links to blogs with good pictures. (If anyone wants to give me permission to post their pictures of PG Funkeys & link posted, let me know!)

Here is a list of product codes that Akaabbey got from the packages. You can call the store ahead of time to see if they are in stock.

UPC: Tadd - 027084779660, Rastro - 027084779653, Nectar - 027084780444, Maul - 027084780451, Ace - 027084778677, Mulch - 027084779684

U.B. Funkeys toys are in Wendy's kids meals now....we got one!

Just a note that the UBFunkey toys aren't at every Wendy's yet, as of August 5th. There have been several disappointed families who went there specifically for the UB Funkey toy in the kid's meals. Sorry to hear that happened to you all. Thanks for writing in and letting others know. As April said she's going to do next time (in the comment section), it's a good suggestion to call the restaurant first if you're making a special trip there & aren't sure if your local Wendy's has them yet.

We got the 3-D puzzle game as the toy in the Wendy's kids meal. We usually only go to McDonalds because Liam has food allergies and we know McD's french fries are safe for him. But we made an exception today so we could see what kind of UB Funkey toys are there. And I ate the meal (no argument from me to eat the fries! More, please!)

Liam got a bit frustrated while trying to put the game together, put he finally made it work and now he's playing the game with his dad even though he should be going to bed! I'll let you know later if he thought it was a fun game.

Thanks, Frogboy! We're working on the code right now. Thanks for reminding me! On the UB Funkeys website it gave us a download for a map pack that contained 3 maps (Funkeystown, Funkiki Island, and Daydream Oasis). Of course for most of us veteran players, the maps are not anything new, but I could see how it might entice a new player to want to buy funkeys in order to enter those zones (which I'm sure is the whole marketing idea!)
And when we entered the code from our 3-D puzzle game into the UB Funkey game, this is what we got......
