The bidding has ended on eBay, and unbelievably, it sold for $800! I hope we get to find out who owns it now. I can actually say this time, unlike with the $360 Dot, that I do understand how a serious collector would pay that much for Taejo. From what I hear, it will be the only one out there. I considered bidding on it, maybe up to $200, but we now know that wouldn't have gotten me far on that auction!
What do you all think? Do you wish it was you who owned Taejo?
[Frogboy is right, that's a "duh" question for anyone reading this blog! How about this ~ how much do you want? How high in the bidding would you go (even if you had the extra money)?
I don't mean to be rude, but duh I would want to own taejo. If I had it then I could brag about and rub it in your faces! LOL XD! But I'm not that mean... or am I? >:)

ReplyDeleteWell Robyn I don't really want him because Speed Racer was the worst movie ever :) (in a fan's point of view) But in a collector's gotta collect 'em all view I want him but at max I'd pay 200 smackers 800 seems like a waste of smackers to me i've got stuff like photo shop, Fireworks, and Dreaweaver and Pokémon Platinum to save up for (I know Pokémon Platinum is out of place hey i'm a kid and a web desighner too... :) )

I would have paid up to $200 too Robyn...but $800!! (bills, economy, bills...etc..) I did like the Speed Racer movie though...

ReplyDeleteWell Onewa. Taejo is MORE higly anticaapated than Bandit, You see, taejo was a figure that is very rare beacuse there is only one or two out that slipped around. Bandit on the other hand has been forgotten by quite a few so ya. Taejo would be more expensive. and Robyn, i would NEVER pay above 50$ for a funkey! ya. THATS RIGHT EVERYONE! :D well. yah. and CP Funkeys, I got pokemon platinum! :D:D:D thanks robyn for still believing in funkeys! Bya!
