Are Skylanders the Next UB Funkeys?
Skylanders comes out today on Wii and the other gaming systems. It sure looks a lot like the UB Funkeys but for Wii, XBox, etc.
Its glad to see your back on the blog. We should throw another funkey party, even know i wasnt at the last one. Anyway, yeah they are like funkeys, except I must say they ARE pretty cool :3 Yeah if there will be another funkey party, my name is Frankfrost25 on UB funkeys. Im on often :3
Hey I tried to visit angus lab and the the trunk and it tells me the file is broken or missed, how do I fix this? Also I cannot visit any cribs and it says no other players found in multiplayer games... any help please? Is it because I don't have paradox green? If so where can I get it? Thanks! (Sorry for all the questions!)

My U.B. Hub broke down and the game keeps saying,"Something is wrong with your U.B. Funkey. Let me check it." I don't want to buy a new one, so I don't really play that any more. I play another free web MMO called AdventureQuest Worlds at www.aq.com. My character's name is Jont2.
Is there any chance they will bring funkeys back? Possibly even a newer version. I'll check back frequently for an answer. Whenever you see this please respond.
skylanders are such a copy! The starter kit is 60 bucks plus tax. U.b. Funkeys was 20 including tax. skylander are a cheap knockoff. Sorry you had to hear that I have strong opinions.

Hello... I'm sorry to say, but skylanders does not match up with Ub funkeys. First of all, skylanders is extremely expensive. It isn't (almost) required to get ALL the skylanders. Besides, there isn't any super fun game, or customization thing you get for having that skylander. Next, skylanders is a VERY different approach to the collect them all portal thing. That game has an ending to it, and after you go to that ending, there's nothing else to do! However, UB funkeys, is where you could collect 999x of all items, you could try to get the max amount of coins, you could customize your house, and do way more than skylanders! Lastly, Skylanders isn't as memorable. It really didn't have that good a story, or at least have fun things to do. It was annoying and ALL that other crap. UB funkeys didn't have an on-going story as much, but at least had fun, cool things to do, and great graphics. This is my conclusion of why skylanders does not match up with UB funkeys. Now, excuse me, but I'll be looking for a way to revive UB funkeys because it was a great idea.
My granddaughter and I just started playing Funkeys a couple of months ago. She received quite a few of them for her birthday several years ago, but was not quite old enough to understand/enjoy the games. I was quite dissappointed, when we finally started playing, to realize that the online features no longer work, nor, from my understanding, can we get updates that will allow us to play with her paradox green characters. If there is anyone out there that might be able to point us in a direction that would help, it would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Hey guys. I'm working a small development team and were waiting on a small project. In the mean time, our team came to the conclusion, that because we have a month or two on our hands, we would start an actual re create of ub funkeys. It's not for sure yet. But if by some chance I get enough support from the community and some mid-pro help, I might embark on this journey. It's crazy I know.
