Eric L. from Fresno, Ca. sent in these images that he got from working with his game files (a note to the kids reading this: That is not recommended unless you really know what you're doing!). It shows that the UB Funkey game is set up so that Master Lox, Mayor Sayso, and a Henchman will be playable characters. You can see where the images are highlighted, similar to the way the Funkey you play as is always shown in the upper left corner with the highlights around the Funkey.
Neonmaster & Mittens also sent in some images with glowing figures that appear to be a correct assumption that they will be playable characters. One was Jerry from Funkiki Island and now we've seen the product images, so that has been confirmed. Another image was that of a henchmen.

search on google or on a good search henchmen funkey and click images and you wil find pictures of henchmen funkey figures out of the game.................i used to be brouf but forgot my password now i am brouf! i think well it might be the same.....
Thanks, I just checked that out. I remember seeing images from the Toy Fair of the henchmen figures. At the time we weren't sure if they would be sold as playable characters, or if they were just for display at the fair.
That would be a good image to post here, thanks for the suggestion. I'll see if I can get one up.

Awesome....but it's not like I need to spend more money on Funkeys!

That green henchman image is from when you beat Lapputa Station. I know because I have done it!
Ok, I think I have him convinced for now anyway that they are not available yet. But when I told him what pteprocks said about Lapputa Station, he got upset with me again. He says that there isn't any games there, just places to visit. Ugh

I have a lot I need to get rid of so I'm not trying to make any money off them.
But playing the games won't get him any closer to having the actual henchman figure, so I suppose that doesn't help!! But maybe other Funkeys that he doesn't have will ease the pain & be a good alternate birthday gift.
If we get lucky, maybe the other ones your son wants will come out by the Holidays.

Mayor Sayso, Master Lox and Henchman are playable characters. So is Jerry Pearl, Native and Pineapple King. Drag, Royalton and Cruncher Block were going to be released, but the Speed Racer Adventure Pack was cancelled.
