Deuce's Game ~ RECORD RAMPAGE

In Deuce's game, records fly across the screen and you get to shoot them with fireballs that come out of your pitchfork. Use your mouse to aim and click to shoot.
The further away the discs are when you shoot them, the more points you earn.

High Scores: A High score of 22,225 won a trophy and access to the game in crib's game room. An insane high score of 32,700 won a Rockabilly Jukebox.

Zone: Magma Gorge

Color of portal and gem shard: Red

Length of play: 7 rounds

Funkey BIO:
Fond of all things hip and trendy, the Deuce set the standards for cutting edge culture. In fact, the phrase “What the Deuce” means what’s hot and “That’s Deuce” means that’s cool.
The Deuce love music but not that snooty, high culture opera that the Glub sing. The Deuce like rockabilly and anything that’s fast and you can dance to.
The Deuce are notorious pranksters. The most famous was when they tricked the Glub into wearing elaborate costumes with big platform shoes, rhinestone sunglasses and jeweled hats for their performance before Parliament and the Queen. She was not amused.
Despite getting on the nerves of many Funkeys at one point or another, everyone wants to be Deuce.

Tiki's Game ~ BOUNCE 'N BREAK

The object of Tiki's game is to bounce the ball off your shield to break all of the boards above. You use your mouse to move the shield across the screen.

I learned that it is much better to use the mouse instead of a touch pad.

Have fun playing this and remember to keep your eye on the ball!

High Scores: A high score of 56,148 will win you a trophy, and a Chieftan's thrown and access to the game from your crib's game room. A score of 57,397 was an insane high score that earned a Tiki Guard.
The highest score posted has been 59,388

Zone: Kelpy Basin

Color of portal and gem shard: Blue

Levels of play: 10

Funkey BIO:

The Tiki are believed to be the first Funkeys to inhabit Terrapinia. All other Funkeys evolved from the Tiki. The first Tiki crawled out of the primordial soup and walked on land over a million years ago.
Hunters and gatherers, they quickly became the dominant species. They created a thriving society, the ruins of which can still be seen in the MesoFunkey Plains. They developed the first language and writings, and were also prolific artists.
Tiki artifacts are highly prized by Funkey collectors. While once fierce warriors, the Tikis now live an almost Zen like existence and despite their ferocious look, modern Tiki are vegans.

A note about the color of Rare Tiki: It is actually olive green although it appears as yellow in print and on screen in the game.

Glub's game ~ FISH BOWLING

It's a game of bowling! "Fish Bowl" ing, that is. And it is fun! It's so cute, Glub is floating in a bowling ball type bubble that rolls down the lane to knock over the pins.

Use your mouse to click where you want the ball to start. Adjust the power level, then click again to release the ball, and use your mouse to aim.

High Scores: A score of 201 earned access to the game from our crib's game room, and "the one that didn't get away"

Highest score reported yet is 238, but no trophy earned yet.
Has anyone earned the trophy yet?

Zone: Kelpy Basin
Color of portal and gem shard: Blue
Length of Play: 10 frames

Funkey Bio:
The Glub are extremely agile and elegant when submerged but on land are like….well, a fish out of water.
The Glub speak in a strange bubbling slurping way that most Funkeys find difficult to understand. But oddly enough, the Glub have the most beautiful singing voices. All their speech difficulties go away when they sing. They perform in the great Funkey Hall, always sing the Funkey anthem “We Want the Funk”, before sporting events and, of course, at Parliament.
Despite their awkwardness on land, the Glub waddle around with their noses in the air and act like big superstars. They are the royalty of all Funkey celebrities and they act like it.

Twinx's Game ~ TWINX DREAM

In this game you will use the arrow keys to move twinx and the space bar to make her throw up a star. The object is to hit all of the moving targets (sun, clouds, and rainbows) before they drop "raindrops" on Twinx, and before the remaining ones move all the way down to the bottom. The sun, clouds, and rainbow move faster in each round.

High Scores: A score of 13,680 earned us rainbow wallpaper and we can access the game from our “game room”. A score of 17,069 got us the Twinx Dream Trophy.

The highest score yet is 47,812 on level 49

Zone: Kelpy Basin

Color of portal and gem: Blue

Length of Play: possibly infinity? One Funkey Fan played through level 49, she decided to end the game herself at that point!

How to get to Twinx Dream:

Twinx's game (Twinx Dream) and mart are located inside of Twinx Heaven. On the right is a picture of Twinx Heaven, which is located in Kelpy Basin. There is a small picture of the map, and Twinx Heaven is located where you see the large red diamond, in the lower right corner.

Funkey BIO:
Twinx means “star” in the native Funkey language, and the Twinx embody this word. They have achieved celebrity status in Terrapinia.
Like the Amazons on Earth, the Twinx are all female. But don’t let their beauty fool you, the Twinx are a strong & proud race. Legend has it that the Twinx captured all the power of the moon and the stars in their big beautiful eyes.
The Twinx shimmer with the energy of the entire Funkey Galaxy. You can see it in their captivating and hypnotic eyes. But the energy that went in can also come out. The Twinx could change the world in the blink of an eye.

Sprout's Game ~ BLOSSOM BOOGIE

In Sprout's game, you need to match 3 like flowers in a row either going up & down or across. Click on 2 flowers that are next to each other to swap their places. You will loose points if you swap flowers that don't end up in a 3-in-a-row click.
On the last level, level 3, some of the flowers will flash as different flowers until you click on it. My strategy is to ignore those flowers and concentrate on finding matches in all other areas. I think it takes some practice before you aren't distracted by them. But all they do is slow you down so you don't get as many points as you could if you just keep going.

High Scores: A score of 2,970 earned a rare orchid and access from our game room. A score of 3,750 earned a trophy. 5,430 was an "insane high score" and earned a Flower Power Arcade Machine.

Highest score reported yet: 8,510 on funkey fan forum

Zone: Kelpy Basin

Color of portal & gem shard: Blue

Length of Play: 3 levels

Funkey BIO:

The Sprout are always precisely prim, particularly proper and the most purely polite of all of the Funkeys.
The Sprout have perfectly manicured lawns, elaborate gardens and showpiece homes. They are often featured in Funkey Home and Garden and Architecturally Funkey Digest, and a Sprout has won the coveted FELIX award (given to the neatest Funkey) for as long as anyone can remember.
Most jobs around town associated with keeping things beautiful are held by Sprout. They work in concert with the Boggle to keep trash off the street although they find the Boggle to be “gross creatures.” They have a natural ability to grow any type of vegetation. If they had thumbs, they would most certainly be green!

Stitch's Game ~ STITCH STALKER (u.b. funkeys)

The object of this game is to follow "the Very Rare Stitch" without him seeing you. Watch out for the ghost that flies by. If he catches you, you'll loose one of your lives. You start with 3. You can dodge the ghost by moving to the side. You need to keep an eye on the map in the lower right of the screen so you'll know where Very Rare Stitch goes, and you'll know when the ghost is coming closer to you.

Collect cake along the way for more points, and a symbol that gives you a spurt of speed, and fluffy white stuff (does anyone know what they are for?). Avoid the green sticky stuff & mud puddles that will slow you down.
[update: we now know that you can use the space bar to activate a smoke screen to hide you from the ghost when it passes. The fluffy white thing gives you that ability. Thanks to those who responded to the question!]

High Scores:
12,225 won a trophy, Bed of Nails, access to game in crib's game room.
An "insane high" score of 16,450 won a Broken Arcade Machine.

Zone:
Magma Gorge

Color of portal and gem shard: Red

Length of Play: 5 Rounds

Funkey BIO:
Funkey folklore reports it like this - a long time ago the Stitch were trusted with the great secret of King Funkankhamun of the Golden Age. It was a secret so great it could bring down the King, his Golden Age and maybe all of Terrapinia.
As protectors of the this great secret, the Stitch kept away from most other Funkeys, spending their time lurking in graveyards, peacefully cultivating and gathering mushrooms. They were so successful in keeping this secret, that all Funkeys started entrusting their secrets to the Stitch. They would follow other Funkeys around, learn the secrets and then store them for safe keeping.
After years of this behavior, the Stitch evolved to having lips sewed shut, an eye for danger, and no heart so that they can never be tempted to tell their secrets. If what they knew got out . . .

{If anyone can add anything to this, please post a comment or send an email to ubfunkeysarefun@gmail.com . I'm looking for more high scores, and low scores that still earned a trophy. Also, if you know of another game that you can compare this to, I'd like to know! Thanks.} ub funkeys, u. b. Funkey, ubfunkies, stalker game

The gem on Funkiki Island

This is for "Drewdude197" on the the Funkey Fan Forum. We have been posting about the Pineapple King on Funkiki Island and he asked if the gem is yellow. Good guess, drewdude, you are correct and it does match the color of the portal.
I am still uncertain if revealing "the end" of Funkiki Island is considered a spoiler, so only visit that section of the forum (titled "Spoiler Alert") if you really want to know! If you just want to know a few hints to get you to the next step without revealing everything that happens, just let me know and I'll write it in.

The Funkeys are coming, The Funkeys are coming.....

New Funkeys, that is. The buzz has already been out for a while about the Speed Racer series that is due to be released around the time of the Speed Racer movie. And we already know that Dot, Drift, Bandit, and Sprocket are coming because they are in the Terrapinia Library and on the side of the Hub packaging, but we just didn't know when. I spoke to a Mattel Rep. recently who told me that the first 6 Speed Racer Funkeys are due out in April, with another 8 in the Fall. Dot, Drift, Bandit, and Sprocket should be out by the end of the year.
[For updated information on Dream State & Chat Funkeys, please see this post and to see the changes in Terrapinia after the 3.0 update preparing for the new Funkeys, see 3.0 Dream State & Chat Funkey 3.0 update ]

To see the full complete list of all UB Funkeys, including Dream State that should be out soon (the single Funkeys of the Dream State series are not out yet as of June 23), please see this post: UB Funkey Checklist

BUT this is news that I hadn't heard before...............

Quoted from MSN.com Money News:

U.B. Funkeys(TM) Figures - U.B. Funkeys(TM) keeps growing! Master Lox has returned and now lays claim to the Funkeys' dreams. Dream State(TM), the latest series from U.B. Funkeys(TM), features 10 new Funkeys characters allowing kids to unlock and explore two new zones - "Nightmare" and "Daydream." Each Funkeys character unlocks a different game in the zone, and opens up new and exciting items for kids to buy and add when customizing their "cribs." And, for the first time, U.B. Funkeys(TM) will introduce "Chat" Funkeys, letting players communicate with each other safely in the game, and "Multiplayer" Funkeys to let players compete against their friends. Also new for Dream State(TM) are Quests, where players can earn coins and items by completing specific missions.

Looking for more Funkey images

This image was shared by Amanda in Australia who is looking for something similar that lists the Funkiki Island characters. Her kids use this as a chart to mark off the ones they have. Great idea! But now they are looking out for the Funkiki Island series. I haven't seen anything yet, so if anyone has something they can share, we'd all love it!!!!

Tiki's game Bounce N' Break

Tiki is the newest addition to our "Funkey Family". We got lucky and found a rare Tiki. When my son saw it he said, "It's a Very, Very Rare one." He said that because it is olive green and we've never seen a picture of that one. The rare one is always pictured as yellow. But when we played with him, the picture on the computer is yellow, so it's just the "rare" one!

Is it just me or is this a hard game? Once again, maybe this would be easier if I used a mouse. But I've been up to over 8,000 points and up to level 5 and I am not earning any coins yet! I did read somewhere that someone earned a trophy at level 10, but Wow!, that seems very hard to do! It seems I should be at least winning 10 coins by now! Or make that 20 since rare Funkeys earn more! {update: on Saturday, I finally earned 30 coins with a score of 12,111 on level 6}

Has anyone had any luck with this game? Any high scores to list on this one?

A Forum is now set up, please visit it to post your high scores.....http://www.funkeyfanforum.proboards49.com/

More on Nibble's Pearl Diver

We finally found Nibble and I finally sat down to play! There is one thing I learned about playing the game last night....... you don't need to keep playing for more than 30 - 45 minutes and go up to 60,000+ points in order to win the trophy, access in game room, and the bubble monkey (for an "insane high score"). It is a fun game, but I wish I had remembered the comment on the last post when someone said they won it for around 40,000+. It was getting so late last night that I finally had to do a kamikaze move and dive Nibble into the cyclone. What's a gal to do? Carpal Tunnel syndrome was setting in.

But it's a fun little game (I'll need to take a break for a while after that!), it's cute how Nibble feels like he's actually swimming and you need to adjust his movements to the flow of the water. Or maybe that's just my touch pad on the laptop. I wonder if a mouse would be easier to maneuver?
Now I need to win the bucket of chum.
