The Comic Con exclusive version of Dot will NOT be sold on Mattel Collector's website.
But don't despair.......I talked to someone at Mattel's customer service line and they assured me that Mattel would not be that cruel to us! Since they did put out the 3.05 update for everyone, that is a good indication that Dot will be available more widely. It just won't be the exclusive version that was only available at the San Diego Comic Con this past weekend.
So please don't feel you have to buy it off Ebay now as the only way you will ever get a Dot.
Patience has always paid off with this game of UB Funkeys! Unless you want to be the first to have something (I'll admit there is some value to that!), if you just wait a bit, most of us will see the characters we want show up at a Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, or Kmart!

i cant find any funkeys on that mattel website!!

i have almost all the first wave of funkeys but im missing vroom tiki and gulp. i cant find them and im tryin to collect the fist wave before they go retired someone please comment and say that u know where to get the other 3 funkeys im missing in singles o0o000 i also have 2 dreamstate funkeys: waggs(the newest one got him at toys r us and got him yesterday) and drift(got him in starter pak. i got the started pak because i was missing bones and wanted drift) i love ub funkeys
I just purchased Vlurp Ptep Drift Waggs last week and today Rom Rewind Gabby and Holler. I now habe a total of 32 different funkeys. NO DOT
lilaq- I've never replied to someone's comment before but for this one I just couldn't resist. I've been thinking of starting to trade some of my funkeys somehow, and I have a Common Tiki that I'd be willing to trade. If you could provide a complete list of your funkeys you'de be willing to trade, I could see if we could strike up a deal. The hard part is actually getting the Funkeys to each other... Oh, and Series 1, Wave 1 is supposed to go retired in... October I think?

I heard that the next U.B. Funkeys getting released are DC superhero funkeys that include Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, etc. You can see them at the Speaksay.
Erm... That should be Series 8. They weren't featured at the 2008 toy fair, so we should expect them in 2009. Next SHOULD be Series 5 MesoFunkey (Fall '08), with Dot, Bandit, Yin, Blossom, Yeti, and I forget the other name. Then Series 6 Special Funkeys (Winter '08), like Mayor Sayso and Master Lox funkeys. Then Series 7 Hidden Realm (Spring '09?), including Yang.
Corduroy ~ you are welcome to post all the grumpy comments you'd like! They didn't sound to grumpy anyway, but it would make for some good reading on this end!
Lilaq ~ Tiki & Glub have been the hardest to find. It's funny, Karl of KIWIreviews.co.nz imagines that there is a warehouse full of Glubs somewhere and that's why they are so hard to find in the stores. But keep trying Target, TRU, Kmart, Walmart, and the Limited Too stores, you never know when you might get lucky and be there at the right time!

Pteprocks ~ good idea for trading. I haven't figured out a good way to try that yet. If anyone has ideas, please share!

I know for a fact that Dot wont be sold on MattyCollector.com. But i think the only way to get her is at special Funkeys events, etc. i asked the manager for the line and he said that they dont intend to sell her anywhere else, but rather hand her out for FREE at various events this year. Next year, new figure.
