I am putting out this warning because I've been reading a lot lately that some Funkey Fans have lost all their game files after an Update.
Now, this doesn't happen to everyone and it doesn't happen all the time. But it did happen to me a while back. And now, most crushing, it has happened to someone who has posted helpful comments on this blog since the beginning, and on the Funkey Fan Forum. "Wisteriatayu" has been a hugely valuable contributor here. This parent & daughter team have built up so much in the game under many log ins. They have tracked data for us along the way to help us know how many times they've played to earn shards, and what scores will win the different items & trophies.
BUT after this last update, they lost everything!!! All trophies, shards, everything they had in their cribs. What a crushing blow.
So here is the warning alert in big red letters (that I wish I had posted long ago)...........
*****BACK UP YOUR GAME DATA FILES BEFORE EACH UPDATE DOWNLOADS******
I haven't had any problems since my very first update a few months ago with Funkiki Island, but others are having problems now, so let's all play it safe so this doesn't happen to you.
I'll come back later & post the "how to" of backing up.

I know this is not the place to ask this question but I cannot find where I should go. Do you know why it appears in funkeys checklists that there is a yellow tiki...yet I cannot find it anywhere. I found grey, purple and dark army green. I looked on eBay and Amazon. Is the checklist from the Funkeys website incorrect?

Hi Reese,
There is no yellow Tiki, you're right that the checklist is incorrect. The Rare Tiki is the dark army (or olive?) green that you've seen. We have that one actually!
It does appear yellow everywhere in printed material, and in the game as well. Even when our green Tiki is in the hub, he appears yellow on the screen.

Hello! I'm new on UB Funkeys, and I just did a update. now when I go on and try to put my little funkeys in the big white one my funkey on the screen it comes a brown and stinky and I can't any funkeys in! What should I do? I really want to keep playing but I can't with this brown one. PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the game of UB Fukeys, I'm glad you found my blog! Those are kooties on your Funkey making it dirty & they're just showing their love! You'll need to find a washing station and they are all around Terrapinia. You can locate them easily on the map, they will be marked by a water drop.
